The incident occurred in the Australian city of Casino. 14-year-old girl Izzy Miller prevented a school bus from colliding with a gas tank.
After standing at the intersection of the streets, the bus with 20 schoolchildren left for the gas station. And then Izzy, a student of the 9th grade, noticed that the driver was not there. Ahead was a minimarket and a gas station. The horrifying incident was recorded by surveillance cameras. But the girl quickly regained her composure: she jumped into the driver’s seat and pressed one of the pedals, assuming that it was a brake. When the bus started to stop, Izzy pressed again – and the accident did not happen.
As for the unfortunate driver, the police have started an investigation into the matter.
