How much does a car inspection cost?

Updated tariffs for mandatory technical control of vehicles have been in force in Ukraine since November.

The cost of the procedure for passenger cars starts from 1,120 hryvnias.

Maintenance prices for other categories of vehicles depend on their weight:

• buses weighing up to 5 tons – from UAH 1,260;
• buses weighing more than 5 tons – from UAH 1,344;
• trucks weighing up to 12 tons – from UAH 1,260;
• trucks weighing more than 12 tons – from UAH 1,440;
• trailers weighing up to 3.5 tons – from UAH 1,120;
• trailers weighing from 3.5 to 10 tons – from UAH 1,200;
• trailers weighing more than 10 tons – from UAH 1,322.

The service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine initiated the strengthening of control over the technical condition of vehicles involved in passenger and commercial transportation – buses, minibuses, taxis and trucks.
